New Look - New Name: The FFC Convenience Shop

Featured Image

The FFC Gift Shop was updated recently with new flooring and painted shelves and trim.

We are grateful to our Maintenance Department workers – James Helton, Bruce Allison, and Michael Whitehead - for their steady efforts to refresh our space. With this beautiful new look, we felt it was time for a fresh name: the Convenience Shop.

The Convenience Shop is run by volunteers – your neighbors who live at FFC and give their time to help you have easy access to some of life’s essentials. We thank them for their service and invite you to consider becoming a volunteer!

Peggy Spohr and Paul Buckley are our shoppers who go weekly to purchase items to stock the Convenience Shop.

Kari Hart, Social Services Director and Convenience Shop staff liaison, enlists volunteers, prepares the monthly schedule, and represents the volunteers with Administration. She will be glad to speak with you about becoming a Convenience Shop volunteer!

Sharon McCormac is our pricer. Weekly, after the purchases are delivered by our shoppers, Sharon tags the items with prices so you can see the cost as you shop.
